Melody Kincaid, RN
MDS Coordinator
Melody Kincaide started working at Manassas Health & Rehab in 2016 as a Charge Nurse and moved into her current position as MDS Coordinator in 2017. Melody graduated from Nursing School with her BSN in 1992, at which time she started working as a Charge Nurse on the Skilled Nursing Unit at Annaburg Manor in Manassas. Melody has 26 years of Long Term Care experience in a variety of different capacities including Primary Patient Care Nurse, Nursing Supervisor, Unit Manager of both a Dementia/Special Care Unit and a Long Term Care Unit, as well as MDS Coordinator. Melody feels privileged to have also had the opportunity to work as a Hospice Case Manager for Capital Hospice during her nursing career.
Melody loves being a nurse because “It has allowed me to develop relationships and get close to people in a way that is not possible with other careers.”
Melody is married and has one daughter. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and baking.
