Through a partnership with the Ceca Foundation, employees and guest can recognize caregivers by nominating them through an online system. Each quarter, a committee will review the nominations and chooses an individual to be a Ceca Award winner. This individual is someone, “who best exemplifies qualities of empathy, humor, integrity, professionalism, and teamwork in treating patient residents”. The winner receives, not only, recognition from their peers but also a $250 monetary prize.

Ashley, who was named our July 2019 Shining Star of the Month, has been with Manassas Health & Rehab Center for six months and has already made a difference in the center. Our patients, residents, and staff love her. Here are some of the nominations, from residents & staff, that voted for her:
