I’ve been a housekeeper for several years, and I am currently a housekeeper on the Dogwood unit. I chose to work at Manassas Health & Rehab Center because my daughter was a CNA at the time, and she told me she knew I would enjoy helping the residents if I worked at a nursing center, so I applied for the position and got the job.

My daughter’s prediction became a reality because I do enjoy being able to help the residents, and the feeling it gives me knowing I’m doing something good and doing my best to improve the quality of their lives. At the end of the day, it makes me feel like I made a difference.
