Whether you are here to settle in or looking for a speedy, complete rehabilitation, our expertise, training, and skill are at your service.

On behalf of Manassas Health & Rehab Center, we have the pleasure of introducing you to our new Registered Dietician, Jamie Harry! Learn more about Jamie:

After raising her children, teaching yoga, and working as a volunteer, Jamie Harry has re-established herself as a professional in the field of wellness and nutrition but in a slightly different light. To compliment her first degree in Clinical Dietetics from the University of Oklahoma, Jamie graduated with a nursing degree from Shenandoah University’s school of nursing in 2010.  But when an illness emerged, Jamie began searching for alternative healing which led to her studies of Ayurvedic medicine at the Kerala Academy in Seattle Washington. She completed her certification as an Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor (AWC) in 2012.

Combined with her nursing knowledge, Jamie relocated to her home in Winter Springs, Florida (Orlando) and began operating an assisted living facility that offered holistic care to seniors.  Until a major hurricane changed state rulings, Tuscawilla Villa operated as a senior living residence with a focus on nutrition, regular exercise, mental stimulation, quality sleep, stress management, and overall quality of life.

Returning to Virginia, Jamie began working for Commonwealth Care of Roanoke where she hopes to continue her mission of helping seniors through nutrition and utilizing her knowledge & skills of a NAB certified long term care administrator as a member of the leadership team.
