Guest speaker: Mr. James Anderson
Topic: “Estate Planning Documents: What you need to know.”
James F. Anderson is an attorney with the law firm of Olmstead & Olmstead, P.C. He joined the firm in 2009 and handles a variety of legal matters including all of the firm’s Estate Planning business. His Estate Planning experience includes the construction of wills, living trusts, powers of attorney, and advanced medical directives, as well as the ability to generate more complicated Estate Plans and the associated documents. He also participated in the “Wills for Heroes” program for Prince William County as a legal expert, and advised police officers, firefighters, and their families about estate planning and their particular needs.
He received his Juris Doctor degree in 2008 from the George Mason University School of Law and is admitted to the Virginia State Bar. Additionally, he is a member of the Prince William County Bar Association and is admitted to practice before the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
