Each month, our leadership team gets together to select a team member who demonstrated unique and exceptional acts of customer service during the previous month. This recognition, known as our Shining Star Program, showcases one wonderful employee who went above and beyond the call of duty. This month, we held our first Election Day, where we asked our residents, patients, family members, volunteers, and staff to vote on the November 2018 Shining Star.

We had significant participation (94 votes), 11 nominees, and a lot of fun! It was a tight competition but only one winner. The November 2018 Shining Star goes to…

November 2018 Shining Star of the Month

The shining star is Sarah Ponce, LPN! She has been here for over a year and has been helping as a “temporary” Wound Nurse. Sarah was nominated by the residents this was her nomination:

“Sara is a very very nice wound nurse for me. She is always there with a smile on her face and does her job very professionally. I think Sara is a very good candidate for this award!”
