Each month, our leadership team gets together to select a team member who demonstrated unique and exceptional acts of customer service during the previous month. This recognition, known as our Shining Star Program, showcases one wonderful employee who went above and beyond the call of duty.

October 2019 Shining Star

We have selected our October Shining Star! Her name is Sarah Ponce charge nurse of our Dementia Unit. She was awarded during our Friday Celebration last week. Sarah, one of our youngest nurses (LPN), has really made a difference for the residents and staff in that position. 

This is one of her nominations on CECA:

“Sarah is a very caring nurse, she is really making a difference in her new assignment! Whenever I go to her unit Sarah is always helping her patients, never too busy to lend an extra hand to her peers with the residents, she a living example of teamwork. Thank you for all you do, Sarah!”
