Weekly Update: April 6th

April 6th, 2021

I hope you had a nice Easter. We celebrated the holiday in the Center with Easter-themed activities throughout the weekend.

Visitation is going well, and we are pleased with the responsiveness we’ve received since re-introducing indoor visitation. We continue to stress the importance of practicing core principles of COVID-19 infection prevention while visiting with your loved ones. Anyone experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 should remain at home and refrain from visiting until symptoms have resolved. Some symptoms of COVID-19 can mimic seasonal allergy symptoms such as cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, sore throat, headache, congestion or runny nose. County Positivity Rate:  Increased to 8.0%.
Testing Frequency for Staff and Patients:  Staff are tested weekly based on county positivity rate. Patients are tested as needed based on symptoms or exposure.
PPE: The supply remains adequate. Staff receive ongoing education on appropriate PPE utilization.
Visitation: Virtual and scheduled indoor and outdoor visitation are currently available. Click this link to schedule a visit: https://manassas-rehab.com/patient-visitation/.

As always, please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have.

Sincerely,
